The last of the 3 weeks mentioned again had to be cancelled as we received a phone call on October the 18th that my sister’s (Trish West) youngest son had passed away.  Wilson West, 14 weeks old, the youngest of 8 children, at the time of the phone call was being rushed to the hospital because he wasn’t breathing.  So, we packed up our trailer in a rush and headed to Menomonee Falls, WI to be with family.  It was a sweet weekend thru the tragedy as we heard both Scott (our brother-in-law) and Trish’s testimony of how the Lord had been working in each of their hearts to do something that would not only break them, but would impact their 8 children.  Never imagining that the Lord would take the 8th to be home with Him, they were still prepared for this deep working in their lives.  Pastor Van Gelderen had the privilege of telling the 3 oldest after school on Thursday that their brother had been taken home by the Lord.  Pastor’s testimony was that of the Lord meeting with them in that time together!  The Lord was already working!   The funeral was on Monday and the burial was on Tuesday morning.  Throughout the weekend a few that were saved (several were witnessed too, including the funeral home director).  Please pray for the West’s even now that the Lord would continue to give Grace and comfort!  Thank you to those who have prayed for us during this time.

Even though the tour cancelled (read in Sept. blog), the next three churches saw fit for us to minister with them in a different capacity.  In Kettering, OH (Dr. Shaw) we held a Parent-teen weekend.  It was good to be with the Shaw’s again as well as Sheila, Josiah (and their new puppy Madison   The Lord ministered to our hearts as well as those present at the weekend meetings.  On Sunday, we had a time of fellowship where many testified that the Lord had done a work in their hearts too! 

The following week, we were with Pastor Steven Shaw in Glenford, OH.  Here we had a Saturday youth rally and preached all day Sunday.  It was good to be back in Glenford!!!  This is a special church to us as they just take us in as their own!    We also like to fellowship with Steven, Stephanie (and the boys, Zachary, Brennen and Christopher).
